The ATS CT27 is the only worthwhile stock turbo upgrade for the Gen2 3SGTE. Fully compatible with a stock MR2 and capable of up to 360whp.

We machine the compressor housing for a larger billet compressor wheel, installed in house with new bearings and precisely balanced for maximum longevity.

Compressor upgrades are everywhere, but that's not the main bottleneck of the CT26. The stock turbine housing is restrictive. Regardless of the compressor wheel, every other CT26 upgrade caps out by 275whp.

We worked with a local machine shop to devise a CNC operation that reshaped the twin entry nozzle of the factory exhaust housing. This operation opens up the nozzle size to increase power, but also smooths the direction of flow where the two entries merge to reduce turbo lag.

This is still a journal bearing turbo, therefore we recommend Valvoline VR1 oil. Warranty claims that show bearing damage will require an oil test.

Get a $400 refund when your old turbo is returned to us in rebuildable condition with wastegate actuator installed.
