The MR2 clutch pedal takes a lot of abuse. Over time the pivot bushing can wear out. The factory plastic bushing is certainly gone by now and the stock pin is probably worn half way through. Grab one of our rebuild kits. It includes a new pin, a clip, and a new METAL bushing. If you waited too long and the clutch pedal hole is worn into an oval, get the "worn the hell out" size (pictured on the left). To install the "worn the hell out" size you will need to remove the pedal from the car and drill the hole out larger.
