US cars came with twin stromberg carburetors. European cars came with twin choke dellortos. I actually have sets of both that can be included with the car. But no one brags about the sound of strombergs, and the dellortos are kind of fire prone if the needle sticks. Plus I hate tuning carburetors, so I made the decision to build a retro looking aftermarket fuel injection system that would be controlled by an ECUMaster EMU. It would control the fuel as well as the igntion timing curve. The four individual throttle bodies give it the same look and sound as the classic european carburetors. Plus we are making 20hp more than the US cars were rated at.
The ECU is mounted on the fender near the battery and there is a USB tuning port inside the glovebox.
