Core Notes

  1. Turbocharger Cores: Must be received within 30 days of purchase of rebuilt/upgraded turbo to be eligible for refund. Cores with damaged compressor housings, damaged exhaust housings, broken turbine shafts, damaged turbine wheels are not acceptable. Cores with damaged (but not broken) turbine shafts or bearing housings are eligible for a partial care refund. Typical cost to recondition a shaft or bearing housing is $100 each. Include Wastegate actuator with your core turbo.

    DO send your old wastegate actuator.

    DO NOT send your oil lines, water lines or rubber couplers.

    Core must come with filled out core return form (shipped with each CT27).

    Note: Core evaluation/refund may take up to 30 days after core is received by ATS.
  2. Fuel Rail Cores: Must be received within 30 days to be eligible for refund. Cores with cracks or leaks will not be refunded.
  3. Fuel pressure regulator cores: Must be received within 30 days to be eligible for refund. Must be in working condition. 99% are.
  4. Cylinder block cores: Must be received within 30 days to be eligible for refund. Core exhanges are required for our 2.2 stroker motors. Crankshaft condition is not of major importance, neither is piston condition. However, blocks that have been run low on oil or have thrust bearing wear are not eligible for refund.
  5. Transmission cores: Must be received within 30 days to be eligible for refund. Standard transmission rebuild includes replacing synchros and seals only. Transmissions with damaged/worn bearings, housings, shift forks, input or output shafts will not be eligible for a core refund or a partial refund.
  6. Cam Gear Cores: Must be received within 30 days to be eligible for refund. Cores must be in good working condition.
  7. ECU Cores: Must be received within 30 days to be eligible for refund. Cores must be in good working condition.
  8. Intake Manifold Cores: Must be received within 30 days to be eligible for refund. Cores with porting of runners are not eligible for refund.
