Located inside the evaporator box, this is the most common leak point for the AC system on an 85-89 MR2. The switches fail internally and leak through the connector. Sometimes the pipe this threads into cracks at the threads, so check for that as well. We recommend replacing the expansion valve while the evaporator box is apart.
