2ZR Engine Swap into 85-89 MR2, with related regular maintenance items replaced and dyno testing included.

Available Options

Upgrade to 2ZRFAE

For those who want more power, but have no interest in adding a turbo later. Expect this to add about 10whp over the standard swap, or 20whp with a long tube header and up to 40whp with the addition of a standalone ECU. Read more about power adders in our 2ZR Swap Info blog post.

Includes upgrade to 2ZRFAE engine from a 20-22 Corolla, with an FE intake cam phaser and ATS Valvematic Delete kit installed. Also includes an ACIS intake manifold upgrade. Unless you select the cruise control option, there will be no electronic control of ACIS and it will simply be locked in short runner mode.

Turbo Ready

For those preparing to upgrade to our turbo package in the future. Includes Upgrade to 2ZRFAE, with the addition of an 808Spec clutch, valve spring upgrade, and FE oil pump.

Install in Automatic chassis

Includes all extra parts and necessary labor to manual swap an automatic car. This includes custom driver side mount, shift cables, shift linkages, mount brackets, speedo drive unit, pedals, shifter, knob, boot, clutch master, and full length braided clutch hose.

Alternatively, this same price applies for an automatic 2ZR swap into either an NA or SC, manual or auto chassis. This uses a Scion xB transmission, and includes a transmission oil cooler mounted in the side vent. There is not an LSD available for the automatic transmission.

Install in Supercharged chassis

Supercharged cars have an E51 transmission with different mounts, speedo drive, shift linkages, and shift cables. Installing the included C59 is no issue, it just requires extra parts. Price includes custom driver side mount, shift cables, shift linkages, mount brackets, speedo drive unit. Also included is the battery relocation option, as the unique supercharged battery tray causes issues with the 2ZR intake.

Automatic supercharged cars should not select this option, instead select the automatic option and add on the battery relocation.
